Born on the 25th of November, 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is a dynamic Canadian actress and singer celebrated by her outstanding contributions in American television. Her work has received praise for her outstanding performances in the American TV show Law & Order in which she was Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons and Crossing Jordan, wherein she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six seasons. Hennessy has also showcased her talents in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she created and directed these movies. Hennessy was first noticed in 1988, alongside her sister, as twin call girls in Dead Ringers. She appeared briefly in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story in Broadway in 1990. It was 1993 when the actress stepped out of the world of musicals and into the genre of sci-fi as the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the autumn of that year, she joined the crew of the NBC popular crime drama Law & Order in the character of assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. As a result of these roles she received a Golden Globe Award in 2006 and an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker received the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway Play Proof.
