Her family was located in the elite Upper East Side of Manhattan in an elitist Catholic family. This is why her parents put her into the Convent of the Sacred Heart an elitist and religious school. She was an avid musician from the age of a child. She first began playing piano when she was a child. In her teens, she composed her first piece. She participated in open mic nights. She was a devoted fan of Queen Michael Jackson, Madonna and David Bowie. Following her graduation from high school, she was accepted into the Tisch School of Art of New York University to study music. The school didn't allow her to finish her studies, she quit to pursue the career path in music.
